You can view deals from a specific location or all of the routes currently on sale here. Once you select your desired route, JetBlue will direct you to its low-fare calendar to pick your dates.

Although the sale is marketed as a deal for one-way fares, you may be able to stack two one-way tickets or book a round trip as normal and still get discounted rates depending on the route.

Outside of this sale, Mint fares starting at $1,858 are currently available from BOS and JFK to LGW through March. These are for nonstop flights and are not limited to travel on a certain day of the week.

The sale prices are for the lowest fares available, which will be the Blue Basic fare type. As JetBlue’s most restrictive class, this fare type only allows travelers to bring one personal item that can fit under the seat in front of them. Any full-size carry-on bag brought to the gate will incur a fee and must be checked. The fee is $65 one-way (for a first or second checked bag) or $180 (for a third bag).

Neither Blue Basic nor Blue fares include checked baggage, so factor in an additional $35 for your first bag and $45 for your second should you check bags. If you add your bags in advance, you can save $5 off your first two. Change and cancel fees also apply to Basic fares, so consider upgrading for further flexibility.

Maximize your purchase

If you book this deal, use a card that earns bonus points on airfare purchases. Frequent JetBlue flyers can use the JetBlue Plus Card for 6 points per dollar on eligible JetBlue purchases, the JetBlue Card for 3 points per dollar on eligible JetBlue purchases or the JetBlue Business Card for 6 points per dollar on eligible JetBlue purchases.

Otherwise, try The Platinum Card® from American Express (5 points per dollar on airfare booked directly with the airline or through American Express Travel, on up to $500,000 on these purchases per calendar year), Citi Premier® Card (see rates and fees), Chase Sapphire Reserve (3 points per dollar on airfare), American Express® Gold Card (3 points per dollar on airfare when booked directly with the airline or through Amex Travel) or the Chase Sapphire Preferred Card (2 points per dollar on travel).

The information for the JetBlue Plus Card, JetBlue Card and Jet Blue Business Card has been collected independently by The Points Guy. The card details on this page have not been reviewed or provided by the card issuer.

Bottom line

You have one more week to snag one-way JetBlue fares as low as $39 across its network for Tuesday and Wednesday travel from mid-January to mid-March.

New this year, travelers can take advantage of discounted flights from New York and Boston to Europe.
