Marriott and Uber have a partnership that lets U.S. Marriott Bonvoy members earn points on U.S. Uber transactions, including rides and Uber Eats orders.
For a limited time, you’ll earn 2,500 bonus Marriott Bonvoy points when you download the Uber app, link your Marriott and Uber accounts, complete a ride and place an order through Uber Eats.
The bonus points are earned as follows:
- Earn 500 points for linking your accounts.
- Earn an additional 1,000 points when you complete a ride with Uber in the U.S.
- Earn an additional 1,000 points when you place a food or grocery order for delivery with Uber Eats in the U.S.
Alongside the bonus points, Bonvoy members can earn points every day in the following ways once they link their Uber account:
- 6 Marriott Bonvoy points per dollar spent on Uber Eats deliveries to hotels operating under Marriott brands in the U.S. (a minimum order total of $40 applies)
- 3 points per dollar spent on premium Uber (Uber XL, SUV, Comfort and Black) rides in the U.S.
- 2 points per dollar spent on non-hotel Uber Eats deliveries and food pickups in the U.S. (a minimum order total of $40 applies)

To link your accounts, open the Uber app, go to “Account,” then “Settings,” and scroll down. Tap on “Marriott Bonvoy,” then sign in to your Marriott Bonvoy account with your email or membership number; wait for confirmation that your accounts have been linked. You’ll receive the bonus points within six weeks of completing each qualifying activity — but you must link your accounts and complete these activities before April 16.

Bottom line
If you have not yet linked your Marriott and Uber accounts, earning 500 bonus points without taking an Uber trip is worth your time — especially because you can also get 2,000 bonus points for completing a ride and food order or grocery order in the U.S.
Remember to use one of the best credit cards for Uber or one of the best credit cards for food delivery orders so you can maximize your earnings (or savings).
